EARLY LIFE
Kenneth Nkosi had his first taste of acting in community theatre. In 1993, he enrolled at the Market Theatre Laboratory in Johannesburg. He made his stage debut two years later in the comedy Afrodizzia at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre.
CAREER
Kenneth Nkosi is a South African actor known for his roles as The Pastor in the television drama Gaz'lam and as Aap in the Oscar-winning film Tsotsi. He also appeared in the 2007 mini-series Society. He has worked on stage at The Civic and The Market Theatre and is a member of the South African Sports Company. His television performances include the soap opera Isidingo, Saints, Sinners and Settlers, and e.tv's The Toasty Show. His film credits include Fela's TV, Tsotsi, Jerusalema, Mafrika, White Wedding, and District 9. He co-produced the sitcom Mzee wa Two Six with Endemol. In 2010, he hosted the SABC2 World Cup show Siyaya 2010 and the SABC1 reality competition television series Class Act from 2010-2011. In 2011, he was interviewed in The Close Up. He starred as private investigator Boomba in the Mzansi Magic comedy series Boomba and TT in 2012. In 2013, he began hosting the Mzansi Magic and Mzansi Wethu game show Wang Verstana. In 2014, he hosted the e.tv reality competition series SA's Kitchen Queens.
