Biography
EARLY LIFE
Jeddy Odiboh, known as Tough Bone, grew up in the ancient city of Benin, Nigeria. He started doing backflips in secondary school at Immaculate Conception College (ICC) and taught himself martial arts by watching movies like 'Snake in The Monkey’s Shadow', Jackie Chan, and Bruce Lee films. He later received formal training after being challenged by a Western Boys champion. He became a national Wushu Kung-fu champion for nine consecutive years (2009-2018) and secured Abuja's first-ever gold medal in Kung Fu at the National Sports Festival in 2018. He also earned a bronze medal in gymnastics.
CAREER
Tough Bone is a Nigerian filmmaker, martial artist, stunt coordinator, action director, and actor based in Lagos. He is the founder of 'Tough Bone Stunt Team'. He produced his first short film, 'Shadow of Justice', in 2018, which won 'Best film' on MTN SHORTZ. He is widely recognized for his extensive stunt work in Nollywood and international productions, including serving as stunt coordinator for 'Blood Sisters', 'Gangs of Lagos', 'Far From Home', 'The Black Book', 'Eleshin Oba', 'The Setup 2', 'Mami Wata', 'Brotherhood', 'Blood Covenant', 'Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti', and 'Oloture - The Journey'. He also worked as a stunt trainer for 'The Woman King'. Notable stunts include falling backwards from the 3rd Mainland Bridge in 'Brotherhood' and crashing a 1982 Toyota Coaster Bus in 'Oloture - The Journey'. As an actor, he has appeared in films such as 'Suspicion' (2024), 'Mami Wata' (2023), 'The Set Up 2' (2022), and 'Across the Rising Sun' (2020). He is mentored by Mick Milligan, CEO of Stuntlab, a Hollywood stunt coordinator. Additionally, he works as a mural and graffiti artist.
