Efa Iwara

Efa Iwara is a Nollywood actor, storyteller and rapper, he hails from Cross River state Ugep, his primary and secondary school education where at Staff School Ibadan and International School Barth, respectively, then later transitioned to university of Ibadan where he gained his gained his degree in geography, Efa Iwara Started as a musician in the entertainment industry with a group called X factor before realeasing his own music, he later moved into acting in 2011 where he featured in the TV series Tinsel.

EARLY LIFE

Born on 20 August 1986 in Ibadan, Oyo State to a Professor of Linguistics father and a Librarian mother. Hails from Ugep in Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria. Attended Staff School, Ibadan for primary education, International School, Ibadan for secondary education, and graduated from University of Ibadan with a bachelor's degree in Geography.

CAREER

Started career in entertainment as a musician in 2006 in group X-Factor. Released first single and Waka EP in 2011. Acting debut in 2011 episode of Tinsel. Appeared in MTV Shuga Naija in 2013, Life 101 in 2016, and since then in series like The Men's Club, Ajoche, Rumor Has It, and films like Isoken, Seven, Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story.
