Chioma Nwoha

EARLY LIFE

Chioma Nwaoha, born Nwaoha Chioma Blessing in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, hails from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State. She grew up in a Christian Igbo family in northern Nigeria, attending Government Science School in Wamba, Nasarawa State, for her early education, followed by Johnbosco High School in Nasarawa State and Madonna Model Secondary School in Owerri. She graduated from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) with a degree in Entrepreneurship and also studied at the University of Port Harcourt. Her interest in acting began during high school through school plays.

PERSONAL LIFE

Ulaegbu is the youngest of six children, with parents Mr. Nwaoha (a businessman) and Mrs. Bridget Nwaoha (President of the Catholic Women Organization in Port Harcourt, born December 13). Her siblings include three brothers—Temple Chibueze Nwaoha (eldest son, Nollywood actor), Moses Nwaoha (managing director and business manager), and Vikiblinkz (CEO of Vikiblinkz Haircraft)—and two sisters: Valentina William Trust (businesswoman, owner of Laposh Hairways, married with four children) and Vivian Nwaoha (real estate agent, model, and fashion lover, married with one child; twin to Vikiblinkz). She is single, with no children, and her family resides in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, while she lives in Victoria Island, Lagos. Ulaegbu has been rumored to be in a relationship with Nollywood actor Alex Cross Chukwuebuka Ajoku.

CAREER

Chioma Nwaoha is a Nollywood actress, model, brand influencer, entrepreneur, and fitness instructor who began her acting career in 2013 after being introduced to a producer by a friend, though she paused to focus on her studies. She attended Delyork Creative Academy for filmmaking studies and returned to acting in 2018 after a break in 2016. Her breakthrough came with the TV series Ojukwu (2018) and the role of Helen in A Call from the Past (2019), produced by Uche Mbunabo. She gained fame in 2021 with All for Nma as Busoma, opening doors to diverse roles in over 60 films, often alongside stars like Pete Edochie, Eucharia Anunobi, and Wole Ojo. Notable films include All for Nma (2021), Wicked Wife, The Anointed Bride, The Pregnant Widow, The Maid, Over The Moon, A Favor Too Many, What Lies Beneath, The Cripple and The Blind, The Boss Lady, My Blood & Tears.
