Too Close To Notice

In the movie "Too Close To Notice", Ify thinks her boyfriend will propose at a romantic dinner. Instead, he breaks up with her and says he is marrying someone else. She is crushed. Her makeup artist Jerry has loved her for a long time but hides it. He comes to comfort her after the breakup. Ify has a list on her mirror of what her perfect man must have: rich, handsome, light-skinned, romantic, and God-fearing. She ignores Jerry because he is just her makeup artist. Her ex returns with a car and a band to win her back, but her sister attacks him and sends him away. Ify's mother and sister tell her she is blind to Jerry's love. Jerry shows his care on her birthday with a saxophonist and a gift. But he later tells her sister he feels tired of trying. Finally, Ify realizes Jerry is the one. She goes to his home and confesses her love. They start dating. But then Jerry sees her ex's car outside her house. He thinks she cheated and leaves her. Ify's mother tells her to fight for him. Ify goes to Jerry's studio, where he is working with his team. In front of everyone, she begs for forgiveness. Jerry forgives her and they stay together.
