In 'BITTER SWEET', Shola, a baker facing financial strain, runs his bakery with partner Adesuwa, enduring a demanding landlady and unpaid debts. When influencer David offers a wedding cake contract, Shola ecstatically accepts, but complications arise when David's fiancée Kamsi turns out to be Shola's ex-girlfriend. Against Adesuwa's pleas to cancel, Shola insists on honoring the agreement, straining his relationship with both women. As David sabotages Kamsi's career opportunity by lying to her board, Shola posts a controversial video exposing a competitor's hygiene, but it backfires and causes a PR crisis for his own shop. Staff criticize his boastfulness, and David records a mocking video threatening to expose Shola's past with Kamsi. In an emotional confrontation at the bakery, Shola and Kamsi reveal past trauma over Shola's mother's death, and Adesuwa walks in on their vulnerable moment. They find support in each other as Kamsi comforts Shola, and later she announces she got the Regional Director job, celebrating with a hug and playful banter.
