EARLY LIFE

Zaharaddeen Sani was born on 1 January 1983 in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He grew up in Kaduna and later attended Kaduna State University. He developed interest in acting and officially entered the Kannywood (Hausa film) industry in 2009.

CAREER

Zaharaddeen Sani is a popular Kannywood actor, best known for playing villain roles. He made his acting debut in 2009 with the movie Al’amin alongside Ali Nuhu. He has featured in many Hausa films including Abu Hassan (2017), Carbin Kwai (2011), Dijangala (2008), Alhaji, Ba’asi, Baban Sadiq, Ban Kasheta Ba, and Bana Bakwai. He is often called the “Bad Boy of Kannywood” because of his convincing portrayals of wicked and controversial characters. He also works as a producer and filmmaker.
