EARLY LIFE
Ulan Garba Matta is a creative born and brought up in Jos, North-Central Nigeria.
CAREER
A 2017 Alumna of Berlin International Film Festival’s talent program, Berlinale Talents, she is a storyteller, filmmaker, and writer. She co-founded Weaned Child Entertainment with Umar Turaki, aiming to create a forum for creatives in Northern Nigeria. Her production company, Weaned Child, has produced films such as “Deviant”, “Salt”, and “Tolerance”. She also works as a writing consultant. She was one of the 250 participants selected for the 2017 Berlinale Talents program held in Germany.
