CAREER

In 2007, Uche entered the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood. Her breakout role came with the film “Corporate Beggars.” However, it was her portrayal of Sister Maggi in the indigenous film “Ikonso” that catapulted her to fame, leading to widespread recognition and the adoption of her character’s name as her professional moniker. Over the years, Uche has showcased her versatility by featuring in over 70 films, including notable titles such as “Sister Caro” and “Corporate Beggars.” Her comedic talent is prominently displayed in collaborations with fellow comedian Chief Imo, where she often plays his on-screen wife. Uche is the founder and CEO of Rufina Entertainment, established in 2015. Throughout her career, Uche has collaborated with various notable Igbo actors and comedians.

PERSONAL LIFE

Uche is married and balances her professional career with her role as a wife and mother. She credits her supportive husband, who appreciates her work and serves as her primary critic, for facilitating this balance.
