Biography
EARLY LIFE
Tony Muonagor studied Mass Communication and was a student of the Kegites Club at Anambra State Polytechnic in 1986. After his national youth service and while a postgraduate student at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, he ventured into Nollywood.
CAREER
Tony Muonagor began his career in Nollywood as a scriptwriter, production manager, actor, comedian, artistic director, and director. His music career, where he is known as the 'Gyration Master', officially started in September 1998 with his debut music cassette 'U Go Bow' which featured the hit song 'Everybody Gyrate'. He also entered politics, serving as a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, representing Idemili North State Constituency, and held the position of Minority Leader. He took a break from the entertainment scene between 2011 and 2023 due to his political commitments, returning to music in 2023 with a 'Gyration Reboot'.
