Thelma Okoduwa Ojiji was born on March 9, 1978, in Enugu State, Nigeria, to parents from Uromi, Esan, Edo State. She hails from the Esan ethnic group and was raised in Uromi. She studied Computer Science and obtained a diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt.

CAREER

Thelma Okoduwa began her acting career in the early 2000s, entering Nollywood shortly after completing her studies. Her debut was in the film Fast Moves. A pivotal moment was her role as Joy in the soap opera Treasures, directed by Chico Ejiro. Her breakthrough solidified around 2012 with her supporting role as Linda in the romantic drama Mr & Mrs., which earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
