Biography

EARLY LIFE

Taiwo Gasper Okeowo comes from a very strong Christian background. His mother is an assistant pastor at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries in London. His father studied abroad, had three children with a white lady, and one with a girlfriend, making Taiwo one of nine children. After finishing school, he worked with a telecommunications company, but always harbored a passion for acting.

CAREER

Taiwo Gasper Okeowo ventured into Nollywood in 2009 after returning from the UK. His debut acting role was as Wole Benson in the TV soap opera 'So Wrong, So Wright'. He also played the character Greg, Bimpe's boyfriend, in 'Tinsel' for over a year. Other notable works include the movie 'One-minute Man', which earned him an AMVCA nomination, 'The Reunion', and 'Freeze'. He considers his role in the horror movie 'Kpians: The Feast of Souls' (2014/2015) to be his most challenging due to the stunts involved. In 2013, he expanded his career into event compèring, beginning with a Heineken launch. He aspires to work in Hollywood and dreams of collaborating with international directors like Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, and Denzel Washington, as well as Nigerian actors such as RMD, Femi Branch, Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, and Adesua Etomi, and directors like Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan.

PERSONAL LIFE

Taiwo Gasper Okeowo describes himself as a 'real person' who values integrity, is a 'goal getter', and believes that nothing is impossible. In addition to his entertainment career, he also runs a honey business.
