EARLY LIFE
Stephen Damian was born on September 26, 1992, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is Igbo by tribe and grew up in Yaounde, Cameroon, and Minna, Niger State, moving back and forth with his family since the age of five. He is the second of four children. He studied Mathematics, Statistics/Computer Science at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
CAREER
Stephen Damian is a Nigerian Nollywood actor, model, filmmaker, voiceover artist, and fitness enthusiast. He was a top 10 finalist in the Mr. Nigeria competition in 2014. He started his acting career in 2015 with the movie "Remember Me" and his career fully started in 2016. He has featured in Nollywood movies such as "The Wedding Party" (2016), "Disguise" (2018), "The Washerman" (2018), "Izoduwa", "39 And Counting", "Dagger", "Tatu", "Sabotage", "Mad About You", "Tug" (which he also produced), "Untold", and "The Politician's Wife". He has worked with production companies like Rokstudio, Sceneone, and Rave TV, and with directors such as Don Omope, Desmond Elliot, Kemi Adetiba, Izu Ojukwu, Tom Robison, Chris Eneaji, and Simon Peacemaker. He has also collaborated with veteran Nollywood stars including Jide Kosoko, RMD, Amechi Muonago, Rita Dominic, and Mercy Johnson.
PERSONAL LIFE
Stephen Damian is married to Mrs. Damian, an Ibibio woman from Akwa Ibom state. They had a traditional wedding in December 2020. He is a muscular fitness addict, works out at least 4 times a week, and enjoys playing basketball, swimming, cooking, partying, listening to music, and playing video games. He speaks French and Hausa. His role model is Pete Edochie, and he is inspired by Idris Elba, Richard Mofe Damijo, and Bolanle Ninalowo.
