Biography
EARLY LIFE
Sola Fosudo hails from Ejinrin, Igbo Oye in Epe Local Government Area, Lagos State. He started his career in 1980 at Obafemi Awolowo University under the mentorship of Professor Wole Soyinka and Professor Adelugba. He was trained as a dramatist at Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan where he obtained a Master of Arts degree in drama.
CAREER
He is a prolific dramatist, scholar, critic, film actor and director. He has featured in and directed several Nigerian films including True Confession, Glamour Girls I, Rituals, Karishika, and many others. He is the head of the Department of Theatre Arts and Director of Information at Lagos State University. He is now a Professor of Theatre Arts.
PERSONAL LIFE
He is married to Yeye Yetunde Fosodu, a Deputy Director at the National Theatre.
