Biography
EARLY LIFE
Sifa Asani Gowon was raised in Bauchi in the 1980s and received her schooling in Jos and Zaria.
CAREER
Sifa Asani Gowon began her scriptwriting career in 2015, contributing to two seasons of 13 episodes each for the Nigerian show 'Sons of the Caliphate'. She has since written for numerous other series and feature-length films, with two of her works already produced. She has also developed two original feature-length scripts and four series concepts. Beyond screenwriting, Sifa is an accomplished author with two published books, 'Playing by Her Rules' and 'A Taste of Love'. She is also an entrepreneur, co-founding Koko’s Kitchen, a business specializing in dry cake mixes, and operating her own baking business.
