Biography
EARLY LIFE
Akinola Sheriff Bakare, better known as Ak One, was born on December 3rd in the early 1980s. He received his primary education at Tunyo Nursery and Primary school and his secondary education at Ilupeju Secondary School. He studied Electrical/Electronics at Lagos State Polytechnic.
CAREER
After graduating from college, Akinola enrolled with Expression Media to study editing. He worked as an editor with Galaxy Television and as a freelance producer/director with Philip Trimmel Production. He furthered his studies in filmmaking at Central Film School, London, where he directed his first short film, 'The Kidnapper'. Upon his return to Nigeria, he established his own production company, Ak One Production, and a talent and ideas management company, One Dream Project. Ak One Productions has been involved in over 40 music videos, documentaries, and TV commercials. He produced and served as a cinematographer for the 2024 Nigerian drama film 'With Difficulty Comes Ease'.
