Sheifunmi Yusuf is a multifaceted creative of Nigerian heritage. He created one of Nigeria's first pop culture blogs (a self-titled blog Sheifunmi & Sheifunmi.net).
CAREER
Sheifunmi Yusuf is a writer, filmmaker, and creative passionate about entertainment and arts. He possesses knowledge in Public Relations, Journalism, and Reporting within the fields of Showbiz, Audio/Visual Productions, Editorial, Print, and Publishing. His blog led to duties as a Television and Radio Personality. He is known for skills ranging from presenting, writing, singing, acting to being a creative consultant, strategist, and public relations specialist. An alumnus of MTV UK, MTV - The Wrap Up, and PardonMyBlog, he has conceptualized brand and PR strategies for brands like Falz and Yemi Alade. He has contributed to platforms such as Ovation Media, Nigerian Entertainment Today, and YNaija. He hosted red carpets for Ovation Red Carol, Ebonylife, and Excite On TV, and was the official blogger for the live feed of MTV Africa Music Awards 2010 and HipHop World Awards 2010. Sheifunmi was also the host of a Google Hangout Series powered by Google Nigeria and anchored the pop culture radio show 'Red Alert' on CityFm Lagos 105.1. He has interviewed numerous acts including Made Kuti, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, and Kelly Rowland. He has also lent his voice to runway soundtracks for fashion brand Maxivive, which graced South Africa's fashion week and Heineken's Lagos fashion and design week. Sheifunmi is the writer of award-winning short films 'I Am Somebody' and 'Insomnia Illusion'.

Sheifunmi advocates for mental health through the non-profit Love, Peace & Mental Health Foundation & Project Get Naked.
