EARLY LIFE

Mohammed Shamsuddeen Iliya, popularly known as Shamsu Daniya, was born on 21 January 1989 in Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He grew up in a family that faced challenges early on, including the loss of his father, which led the family to relocate to Nasarawa State. This move shaped his formative years, as he completed both his primary and secondary education in Nasarawa State. Despite these early hardships, Shamsu developed a strong passion for storytelling and the performing arts from a young age. His interest in film was nurtured through local influences and a desire to express himself creatively. After finishing secondary school, he pursued higher education, graduating with a degree from Maryam Abacha American University in November 2020. He also earned a diploma in film production and television from Kano State University, which gave him the technical skills and foundation needed to enter the movie industry professionally.
