Sanusi Oscar is a director in Kannywood, the Hausa-language film industry of Northern Nigeria. He is known for directing films such as 'Safeena Part 1 & 2' (2015), 'Amaryar Boye' (2016), 'Yar Duniya' (2016), 'Matar Wani' (2016), 'Talaka Bawan Allah' (2016), 'Wata Dukiya' (2017), and 'Sagegeduwa' (2018).
PERSONAL LIFE
In 2019, Sanusi Oscar was arrested by the Kano Censors Board for releasing a music video deemed not in line with the culture and religion of Kano people. His brother, Nura Abubakar, stated that Oscar would continue to use his artistic talent to fight for justice.
