EARLY LIFE
Uncle Sam, as he is popularly called, is an addict of simplicity and humility, whose core values are integrity, reliability, purpose, and accountability. He has a deep respect for the existence of every essence and understands the delicate nature and the inter-relationships between the matters that make up life.
CAREER
Dr. Idiagbonya Samuel is the President/CEO of Fedmas Group and CCO of Fedmas Studios. He is a Nigerian Movie Director, Movie Producer, and certified screenwriter. His works include the movies LAMI (which won Best Movie of the Year at the Inside NollyWood International Film Festivals and Awards), TURNS, THUS, and ACQUIESCENCE. He also produced, created, and directed the series MEADOWS (26-episode), The SETTLER (15-episode), US (11 episodes), My SISTERS and I (10 episodes). He created the first season of the popular TV show Lifelines with Mima, and numerous short films such as The Ebeles, ManUp, The PressingDent, Elamosi, Eve’s Bane, Be Angry but Kill Not, Sour, We, Atutupoyoyo, Rescue, Fading Dawn, The Dry Cleaner, Chef S/he, and Unbeknownst. He is also recognized for his work in Music Video Production, Live Performances, Stage Plays, and Live Event Directing. He was awarded the Outstanding Achiever’s Recognition International award as an Outstanding West African Movie Producer in 2024 and an award of excellence as an ICON of Societal Development by the National Association of Northern Nigerian Students. He is a distinguished media practitioner involved in journalism, broadcasting, publishing, blogging, advertising, news, podcasting, IT, writing, and documentary. He is a member of The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), The Nigerian Institute of Social Media Analyst, the Actors of Guild of Nigeria (AGN), the Director Guild of Nigeria (DGN), and the Patron of the Association of Nigerian Movie Directors (ANMD). He held political appointments as Special Assistant, Communications, to the Honourable Minister of State, Works, and Housing, and later as Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, to the Honourable Minister of Transportation. He also served as Vice Chairman Media for the Progressive Young Leaders Summit Steering Committee and Press and Media Committee. He is the publisher of Gistafri and Naija Fact Finders, online news platforms.
