EARLY LIFE
Uzoma Ruby Awa-Agwu, popularly known by her stage name “Rubee Agwu”, was born in 1994 in Surulere, Lagos. Rubee and her twin Pearl started to explore music at an early age. Their teenage years saw them in the spotlight of music competitions and record label signings.
CAREER
Rubee went on to become a professional songwriter and backing vocalist, working with several international artistes and bands. She later developed a desire to establish her name in music as an Indie artiste in the Afro RnB space, embarking on a solo journey to discover her unique sound. She has been active in the music industry since 2016. As an actress, she has appeared in several Nollywood films.
