CAREER
Romanus Amuta was a veteran Nigerian actor, popularly known for his role as 'Natty' in the popular 1980s soap opera 'The New Masquerade'. Before venturing into the movie industry, he worked with Daily Times Newspapers. His acting career included roles in Nollywood movies such as 'Ijele' (1999), 'Lion Finger' (2003), 'Osuofia in London' (2003), 'Love After Love' (2004), 'Osuofia in London 2' (2004), '9 Wives' (2005), 'Eagle's Bride' (2005), 'The Barrister' (2006), 'Pastor's Blood 2' (2006), 'Last Kobo' (2006), and 'Power as of Old' (2007).
PERSONAL LIFE
Romanus Amuta was a caring father and was survived by his wife, Cordelia, and six children. He died on February 9, 2022, at the age of 79, after a protracted illness.
