Remi Olutimayin was a child of late 70s Lagos. He was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as an adult at 40 and reflects on masking his neurodiversity during childhood.
CAREER
Remi Olutimayin is an award-winning voice director and voice actor with over two decades of expertise. He is recognized as the first voice director for animation in West African history and is the founder of Voice Acting Africa, an online community for voice actors of African descent.
PERSONAL LIFE
Remi Olutimayin is an autism self-advocate. He was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as an adult, which he states empowered him with language and a sense of community. At the time of his diagnosis, he was newly married and expecting a child.
