EARLY LIFE
Reginald Ebere was born with a heart condition, with doctors predicting he wouldn't live past 17. He grew up in Aba, Nigeria, and initially disliked formal education, even skipping a West African School Certificate Mathematics exam. His father was a strict but caring man, while his mother was highly protective due to his health. He recounted a childhood incident where he jumped from a four-story building with his younger brother, resulting in broken legs. Against his father's wishes for him to study Medicine at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Reginald pursued Theatre Arts at the University of Jos.
CAREER
Reginald Ebere is a Nollywood movie director and identifies himself as an artist. He fought to pursue his passion for Theatre Arts. He has directed various projects, including commercials, and mentioned a planned Nigerian/Brazilian movie 'Osuofia in Brazil' that was ultimately cancelled. He was also involved in the launch of an online magazine, radio station, and Internet Protocol Television Channel called 'ORIKI'.
