EARLY LIFE

Ranti Atunwa was born in Buea, Cameroon. In primary school, he developed a passion for creative arts, often drawing caricatures of his teachers and posting them on school notice boards.

CAREER

An avid illustrator and painter, Ranti Atunwa holds a BA in Fine Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has amassed over 19 years of experience in various creative fields including art direction, design, copywriting, creative strategy, concept development, experiential marketing, and digital marketing. His career began with MC&A Saatchi, and he has since worked in top agencies across Nigeria, such as Insight Publicis, FKG2, and SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi. He has developed numerous pan-African and local campaigns, winning awards along the way. As Executive Creative Director of TBWA\Concept, Nigeria, he has worked on award-winning campaigns for notable brands like Indomie Noodles, Guinness, StanbicIBTC Bank, StanbicIBTC Pensions, ARM pensions, Ford foundation, and MTN. He also created Bkna Rkna, a 2-day eclectic entertainment festival themed around African Mythology. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with brands such as GTBank, Glo, Amstel Malta, Heineken, Nestle, Promasidor, and Dangote. He also serves as a juror in creative award festivals and mentors young creative minds. He was an associate producer for the film 'Detour' (2021).

PERSONAL LIFE

When not engaged in his professional work, Ranti Atunwa enjoys bungee jumping from 100ft platforms in Soweto or fishing in Ikoyi, Lagos. He is married and has three sons.
