Biography
EARLY LIFE
Rahamatu Hassan is from Kogi State and spent the better part of her life in Minna, Niger State. She had her primary and secondary education there. She started acting from childhood with the support of her parents.
CAREER
She studied Business Administration at the University of Abuja and is currently taking a course in Estate Management at Nassarawa State Polytechnic. Her first major movie was 'Rudin Zamani', which brought her to the limelight. Other notable movies include 'Bahijja' (for which she was nominated as best actress in Sim awards), 'Enuwa', 'Kudissiya', 'Musanya', 'Gaskiya Dokin Karfe', 'Maryam Diyana', 'Agaj', and 'Wassan Maza'. She was also nominated as one of the Face of Hope (FOH) in 2010. She emphasizes putting in her best and being creative to avoid becoming outdated.
PERSONAL LIFE
She works with the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and also does business. She is conscious of her Muslim faith and believes in educating children for a better nation. She is inspired by personalities like Angelina Jolie, Liz Benson, Kate Winslet, Patience Ozokwo, and Oprah Winfrey.
