EARLY LIFE
Rachael Etta Ojong, known professionally as Etta JoMaria, is a Nigerian actress and producer. Little information is publicly available about her early life, but she participated in church dramas and college stage performances while pursuing a degree in communications. She attended Raindance Film School in London for filmmaking training and was admitted to the EbonyLife Creative Academy in Lagos, Nigeria, gaining skills as both an actor and a producer.
CAREER
Etta JoMaria began her acting career in 2017, making her on-screen debut with an appearance in the film Silenced. She followed this with roles in 40 & Single (2018) and Gold Coast Lounge (2020), establishing herself in the Nigerian film industry. She has expanded her career beyond acting to encompass producing and writing, notably producing and writing the short film Osawumikani (Strength of a Woman) in 2022, where she also starred in dual roles.
