CAREER

Njideka Okeke was introduced to music by her husband, Prince Gozie Okeke, who mentored her. Her debut album, 'Omalichachukwu,' released in 2002, garnered significant attention. She gained prominence with the hit album 'Akanchawa' in 2004, a collaboration with her husband, Prince Gozie Okeke. During a period of separation from her husband around 2010, Njideka ventured into Nollywood, featuring in films such as 'Commissioner for Happiness' and 'Strange Woman.' She has collaborated with various gospel artists and actors, including Nkem Owoh and Emeka Ike, solidifying her status in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

PERSONAL LIFE

In 2003, Njideka married Prince Gozie Okeke, a fellow gospel artist and music producer. The couple has three children: two sons and a daughter. Their first son was born on December 20, 2004, and their daughter, Queen Sylvia Chigozie Okeke, was born on December 15, 2008. Around 2010, the couple separated amid allegations against Prince Gozie Okeke, including homosexuality and domestic violence. The couple reconciled in 2014, celebrating their reunion with the album 'Reconciliation Praise.' In March 2025, videos surfaced online showing Princess Njideka being celebrated by elderly women singing traditional Igbo wedding songs, indicating her entry into a new marriage.
