Paul Igwe

He was born on 27 November 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria, and developed an interest in filmmaking that led him to establish his own production company.

Paul Igwe began his career in the late 1990s and founded Whitestone Cinema Limited in 2000. He made his directorial debut that same year with the movie Outrageous. He has directed over 20 movies and 8 television series. Some of his most notable works include, Clinic Matters (2009), Extended Family (2007), The Benjamins (2012), OJAYS (2015), USEKWU IGBO (2015), House 6 (2016), Troubled Cottage (2016), and Asunder (2016), Nkewa (2017), Dance To My Beat (2017). He continues to serve as CEO of Whitestone Cinema Limited and remains active in producing quality television content, particularly family-oriented sitcoms and dramas.

Paul Igwe is respected for his contribution to elevating the standard of Nigerian television drama. His productions, especially Clinic Matters and USEKWU IGBO, have received critical acclaim and multiple awards.
