Patrick Nkamiang

Patrick Nkamiang is a Nigerian filmmaker and director based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with a strong focus on community engagement and storytelling through film. He is the founder and CEO of Patcy Production, a film and media company, and has directed numerous projects, including short films, documentaries, and commercials. Nkamiang is particularly known for his work in the local film scene in Akwa Ibom, actively promoting and developing indigenous talent and narratives. He is the founder of the Ibom International Film Festival (IIFF), an annual event dedicated to showcasing films, fostering collaborations, and educating aspiring filmmakers in the region. Through IIFF, he aims to create a platform for emerging filmmakers and to bring global cinematic experiences to Akwa Ibom. Nkamiang's dedication extends to empowering young people through film training programs and workshops, contributing significantly to the growth of the film industry in his home state.
