Biography
CAREER
Patience Oseni began her acting career in 1995 with the film Deadly Passion. She rose to prominence in the late 1990s with notable roles in iconic Nollywood movies. Key credits include, End of the Wicked, Brotherhood of Darkness (1995), ATM (2016), In Her Shoes (2013), and other films such as Married to a Witch, Grace to Grass, and various classic Nollywood productions. She was respected as a veteran for her strong performances in dramatic and moral-themed stories common in early Nollywood.
PERSONAL LIFE
Patience Oseni lived a relatively private personal life. She had a daughter, Augusta Akomolafe, who confirmed her passing. She battled health issues, including stroke, in her later years and died in Calabar, Cross River State, on February 17, 2020. She was remembered fondly by colleagues in the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and fellow actors.
