Biography
EARLY LIFE
Pascal Amanfo was born in Awo-Omamma in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State, south-eastern Nigeria. His mother is from the Esan tribe in Edo State. He grew up with strong Nigerian cultural roots spanning two regions.
CAREER
Pascal Amanfo is a highly respected director and screenwriter who works extensively in both Nollywood and the Ghanaian film industry (Ghallywood). He is known for his strong storytelling, emotional depth, and ability to handle socially relevant themes. He has directed and written many successful films, including, Single and Married (2012), House of Gold (2013), Single Six (2011), Purple Rose (2014), If Tomorrow Never Comes, Bed of Roses (2011), Boko Haram, 40 Looks Good on You (2019), Sin City (2019). His films often explore marriage, relationships, social issues, and human drama. He has worked with top actors across Nigeria and Ghana, including Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Yvonne Okoro, Nse Ikpe Etim, and Adjetey Anang.
