Oyin Adegbenro

EARLY LIFE

Oyinade Adebimpe Adegbenro's parents were civil servants, leading to a childhood of frequent travel, changing schools and apartments. She attended Kings Kiddies Private School in Abeokuta and Able God Group of Schools in Owode Yewa, Ogun State, before studying at the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State. Despite being a shy person, she was an active member of her secondary school's drama group.

CAREER

Oyin Adegbenro made her professional acting debut in 2010 in the movie 'Yemoja'. She considers her movie 'Yeye Oge' a significant success, which garnered four nominations at the Best of Nollywood awards in 2016. She is also a movie producer and lists Joke Silva and Angelina Jolie as her mentors.

PERSONAL LIFE

Outside of her acting career, Oyin Adegbenro is an entrepreneur who sells ladies' wears and bags. She describes herself as a shy person, a trait that surprises some given her profession. In an interview in December 2016, she expressed an interest in settling down in 2017. She also revealed a professional admiration for actor Yul Edochie.
