Onyekachi Christian Nweke was born into the family of Mr. Godwin Nweke and Mrs. Godwin Nweke in Ogodo Umunevo Amagunze, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. His family roots are firmly grounded in Igbo tradition and values, which have significantly influenced his comedy and storytelling style.

Ezegetive is a talented comedian and actor who performs at live events and creates content for digital platforms. His rise to fame can be attributed to his ability to blend Igbo culture with modern comedic themes. He has appeared in a number of Nollywood productions and continues to expand his influence in the entertainment industry. Ezegetive’s skits on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok have garnered millions of views, making him one of the most-followed comedians in southeastern Nigeria. His humor often draws inspiration from the everyday life of Nigerians, particularly the experiences of Igbo people. He has collaborated with other notable Igbo comedians and entertainers, including: MC I Go Tuk, Yan Baba, Crazy Legs, Mallam Dagogo, Black Abino, Parrot Mouth.

PERSONAL LIFE

Ezegetive married Harriet Uzoechina Annastecia Kaosisochukwu on April 13, 2024. The church ceremony was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Omagba Phase II, Onitsha, Anambra State, with the reception at Onitsha Sports Club. Harriet is the daughter of Late Mr. Patrick Onyekwelu Uzoechina and Mrs. Ann Chinelo Uzoechina of Obeagu Kindred, Urunkwo Village, Adazi-Ani, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State. Controversies include an Intellectual Property Dispute with Flavour (November 2020) and a Wedding Gift Controversy (April 2024) where he jokingly demanded repayment from friends who attended and ate but did not provide financial gifts.
