EARLY LIFE
Ogochukwu Ekezie graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA, with Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Criminology and Criminal Justice.
CAREER
Ogochukwu Ekezie began her professional career as a Brand Manager at ARM Investment Managers from October 2004 to May 2007. She then served as Vice President, Public Affairs Officer for Nigeria and Ghana at Citibank Nigeria Limited from June 2007 to March 2014. Subsequently, she joined Union Bank of Nigeria Plc as the Head of Corporate Communications, eventually rising to General Manager/Chief Brand and Marketing Officer. She is also a storyteller, creative, and film producer, serving as the CEO of Red Sand Studios, a company dedicated to elevating African storytelling through cinema. Her Nollywood debut as a producer is the short film 'Wèrè'.
