EARLY LIFE

Nuhu Dalyop was born and raised in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, Nigeria. He grew up with a passion for storytelling and visual arts. Although he initially showed interest in other fields, he eventually pursued a career in film, studying Film & TV production.

CAREER

Nuhu Dalyop is an award-winning independent filmmaker and founder of Dalyop Films. He has directed and produced several notable short films and feature projects, including, Bloodhound (2022), Divergent (2021), Wo.Men Are Scum (2018), Isidore. His works often explore drama, social issues, and human stories. He is recognized for his dedication to quality independent filmmaking in Nigeria and has received awards such as Overall Best Short Film for Isidore. He actively recruits and mentors younger talents for his projects.

PERSONAL LIFE

Nuhu Dalyop maintains a relatively private personal life. He is based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he runs his film projects. He is known for being passionate about nurturing young talents and creating futuristic, compelling stories.
