EARLY LIFE
Nora Chinyere Okonkwo was born on 16 March 1991 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, though she hails from Okwu-Akpela in Iyioma, Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. She is Igbo by tribe and was raised in a Christian family of eight. She is the second child in the family. Her mother worked as a teacher while her father is a businessman. She had her primary education partly in Jos and continued in Imo State. She later graduated from Imo State University with a degree in International Relations before venturing into acting.
CAREER
Nora Okonkwo began her acting career after university. She gained prominence with roles in movies such as Enough and Bank Romance. She has since featured in numerous Nollywood films, often working with top actors like Eucharia Anunobi, Frederick Leonard, Uche Jombo, and others. She is also a film producer and runs Nora Okonkwo TV on YouTube. Her filmography includes titles such as, Obiye the Comforter (2022), Fall Out (2023), Behind Closed Doors (2024), Village First Love (2024), Wedding Picture (2024), Selfish Affair (2025), Fast and Lost (2025), Under Wraps, Perfect Swap, The Fall.
