Nazir Adam Saleh

Nazir Adam Saleh is one of the most prolific and celebrated Hausa novelists, screenwriters, and film producers in Northern Nigeria, celebrated for his highly creative storytelling and significant contributions to Hausa literature and the Kannywood film industry. Also widely known as Jikan Sidi Mai Jaka, he has authored numerous popular books and novels that have shaped modern Hausa fiction. Some of his notable written works include, Aljani Ya Taka Wuta, Linzamin Shaidan, Kura Da Kan Rago, Kudi Da Maciji, and Birnin Sarauniya. He has written, adapted, or produced many major Hausa and Nollywood projects. His prominent film and TV credits include, Gidan Badamasi, Alkibla, Uwar Mugu, Dan Birni, Ciki da Raino, Auren Manga, and Har Da Mijina.
