Natives Filmworks is a prominent indigenous Nigerian film and multimedia production company founded in 2005 by acclaimed filmmaker Steve Gukas. Headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, the company focuses on high-end cinematic storytelling, producing landmark Nollywood feature films, television programs, and documentaries. The studio is widely recognized for its high production values and box-office successes, which include 93 Days, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, A Place in the Stars, The Anniversary and Colour Me True. Co-founded alongside producer Dotun Olakunri, this flagship human capacity initiative mentors, trains, and funds the directorial debuts of a new generation of Nigerian filmmakers. Successful streaming releases under this umbrella include Cake, Love & Life, Kill Boro, A Father's Love, and A Danfo Christmas. The studio signed a major multi-episode deal with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Innovative Television Kontent to produce a 104-episode modern remake of the legendary television classic, Cock Crow At Dawn.
