Mukailu Ariyo

Mukailu Ariyo has been active in the Yoruba film sector since at least the late 1990s. His known appearance include, Ode Aperin (2002), Igbanladogi (1998), Afonja (2002). He has appeared in other Yoruba productions, often in supporting or character roles. He is respected as a veteran ("Baba") in the industry, with a career spanning decade in straight-to-video and traditional Yoruba cinema.

PERSONAL LIFE

He is a veteran actor who reportedly lived in a one-room apartment for over 40 years before receiving support from colleagues. In recent years, fellow Yoruba actor Kunle Afod surprised him with a new home, an event widely shared in Nollywood circles as a heartwarming gesture of appreciation for his long service in the industry.
