EARLY LIFE
Mikey Odey Jr. is a native of Ijegu Yala local government of Cross River State, Nigeria. He was raised in Kaduna state and Lagos, Nigeria, before moving to the Federal Capital Territory with his elder brother. He attended Kaduna State Polytechnic where he earned a national diploma in Business Administration. He also furthered his creative art and professionalism by attending Hollystone Academy where he bagged a diploma in Artistic Directing and Acting. He grew up knowing he had a gift and the world needed to see it.
CAREER
Mikey Odey Jr. is a versatile Nollywood actor, known for his roles in various movies. His career as an actor has spanned over a decade, starting around 2005. He has featured in movies like 'Flush' (1998), 'Behind the Sins', 'Domino', 'Separated', 'Farmers Bride' (where he played a Barrister and elder brother to the farmer), 'Conscripted' (as Haliru, a terrorist boyfriend), and 'Deepest Cut' (as Tunde, a friend of Hazel). He has also been part of radio dramas such as 'Nebor my Nebor' and 'Story Story' (a BBC Radio drama), and 'Purple Things'. He was also on the set of 'Sons of The Caliphate' season 2, starring as Prince Hamza Bin Mai Yaki. He is recognized for his ability to interpret roles naturally and his versatility in avoiding being typecast.
