Maryam Abdullahi Bala, popularly known as Maryam Ab Yola, was born on December 15, 1995, in Adamawa State, Nigeria. She grew up with her parents and attended primary and secondary schools in Yola, Adamawa State. She completed her secondary education in Abuja after relocating from Yola.

CAREER

Maryam Ab Yola joined the Kannywood industry between 2011 and 2012, making her debut in the film “Alkawari” and later starring in “Nass” alongside veteran actor/musician Adam A Zango. After a hiatus, she returned to the Hausa film industry in 2018, featuring in various Hausa video songs. On September 1, 2020, she announced her departure from the Kannywood Movies Industry. Her filmography includes movies like Hafeez, Matar Muce, Politician, Zainab Ali, Fauwax, Zainul Abideen, Dan Takara, and others.
