Biography
Mark Samson Koumagnon is a West African filmmaker, director of photography, and media professional. He operates frequently between Benin and Nigeria, contributing to both local cinema and international journalism. He co-directed the 2011 drama film Larmes de sang (also released as Tears of Blood) alongside Laitan Faranpojo. He served as the primary director of photography and cinematographer for Tears of Blood. He worked as a camera trainee on the crew of the major 2016 Nollywood film Okafor's Law, directed by Omoni Oboli. He operates as a cameraman and media creator for international outlets. Notably, he filmed the BBC News investigation on counterfeit medicine smuggling networks inside Benin. He also manages a creative media production agency called HACK Pictures, which focuses on commercial photography, weddings, and video production.
