Biography
EARLY LIFE
Maleke Moye Idowu was born on February 14, 1979, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He attended Oguola primary school and Edo Kpolor Grammar school, both in Benin City. He later studied Business Administration at Auchi Polytechnic.
CAREER
Maleke began his career in comedy, performing at the 'Nite of 1,000 Laughs' show in the early 2000s. He later transitioned into music, releasing his debut album 'Small Small' in 2007. He is known for blending comedy with music, with hit tracks like 'Mini Mini Wana Wana'. He has also acted in Nollywood productions, including the 2024 film 'Wahala in America'. In 2017, he served as the Executive Director to the Edo State Governor on Entertainment and also as the PMAN (Performing Musician Employers Association of Nigeria) chairman for Edo State Chapter.
PERSONAL LIFE
Maleke Moye Idowu married Cynthia on November 1, 2014, in Benin City. They had at least two children, a daughter named Blossom and a son. The marriage ended in divorce by 2019.
