EARLY LIFE
Lucy Wache discovered her love for Poetry at the age of 9 when she took part in a poetry recital competition, competing at the national level throughout her primary and high school education. She made her professional stage debut in the year 2000 while a student at the University of Nairobi.
CAREER
Lucy Wache is a seasoned, multi-faceted Kenyan actress, theatre director, and poet. On-screen, she is known for her roles as Janet in 'The Real Househelps of Kawangware', Wayua in 'Wives', and has also featured in 'Country Queen', 'Sue na Jonnie', 'Bold Conversations', 'Wrong Number', 'Teke', 'Wembe Squad', 'Indelible', and 'Unborn'. Her theatre work includes collaborations with renowned groups such as Heartstrings Kenya, Sterling Quality, Phoenix players, Wholesome Entertainment, Chatterbox, TTT productions, and her church's Word 2 Life group. Notable stage plays include 'Lwanda Rockman', 'The Money that Made him Poor', 'City Dads', 'Noises off', 'Family Circles', 'Malaika' (Musical), 'Lwanda' (Musical), Shakespeare's 'Macbeth', 'Christmas Dreams', 'Romeo and Juliet', and 'The Eight Cow Saint'. She has also directed plays such as 'City Dads', 'Disrupted', 'Arise' (an Easter musical), and 'Shibli Mfalme' (a children's musical). Lucy also assists firms with staff training as a professional role-player and previously built a 13-year career in the Logistics industry as an Operations Manager.
PERSONAL LIFE
Lucy Wache is a born-again Christian who lives by the values of excellence, continuous improvement, and giving back. She is married to Paul Oyier since April 30, 2010, and they have three children.
