Lola Okusami was raised in southwestern Nigeria and studied journalism at the University of Minnesota. She currently resides in New York City.
CAREER
Lola Okusami is a Nigerian filmmaker. Her first film, 'Gone Nine Months' (2017), which she directed and produced, is an excellent effort from the Yoruba New Yorker. She is also credited as a producer for the TV series 'The Governor' (2016) and 'Dérè: An African Tale' (2017), and as a production secretary for 'Fifty' (2015). She also had an acting role in 'The Governor' (2016).
