Kunle Afod is a prominent Nigerian Nollywood actor, movie director, and producer primarily celebrated for his impactful work in the Yoruba film sector. He originates from Oyo State but grew up across Lagos, Ondo, and Plateau states. Afod began his early theatre training under the tutelage of veteran creative mentors like Jide Ogungbade. He later refined his skills within the legendary Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group, founded by Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello). Over his decades-long career, he has built a reputation for multi-tasking on sets, frequently serving as an actor, writer, and director simultaneously. He has appeared in and directed massive hits, including King of Thieves (Agesinkole 2), Seven Doors, Unknown Soja, Baba, and Olubori.
