EARLY LIFE
Born on 27 March 1946 at Oba Ile, a town in Osun State, Nigeria.
CAREER
Began acting professionally in 1964 with the Oyin Adejobi theatre group, playing Adejare in Orogun Adedigba. Later joined University of Ife theatre, working with Ola Rotimi, known for role as Odewale in The Gods Are Not to Blame. Joined Obafemi Awolowo University in 1996 as lecturer, retired 2011, then Redeemer's University, now at Elizade University as performing arts lecturer.
PERSONAL LIFE
Married first wife in 1967, had five sons (one deceased), she later died. Remarried in 1980, second wife died October 10, 2020. No plans to remarry.
