Biography

EARLY LIFE

Afamefuna Klint Igwemba was born on March 3, 1975, in Anambra State, Nigeria, and was raised in Enugu State. He studied Fine and Applied Arts at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in Enugu. In the early 90s, he was one of the few comedians in Enugu, a time when comedy was not highly regarded. He also started dancing from a young age.

CAREER

Klint da Drunk's professional comedy career took off around 2003 after his performance at Opa Williams' Night of a Thousand Laughs in Port Harcourt, where a scheduled five-minute act extended to 45 minutes. This led to an invitation to perform in Lagos. Beyond comedy, he is also known as an actor, musician, painter, gadget enthusiast, and dancer. He is famous for his 'drunkard' comedy style but has indicated plans to explore new comedic approaches.

PERSONAL LIFE

Klint da Drunk is married and has five children, one of whom is in Germany. His wife is supportive of his career. Despite his stage name, he has stated that he does not consume alcohol due to medical reasons.
