EARLY LIFE
Kester Nsirim is a multi-hyphenate creative and a native of Ikwerre.
CAREER
He built his foundation through compelling shorts and documentary projects (Bonnie, The Inquest, Destination Rivers, Impact File, The Legend of River Ethiope). He gained mentorship under Julie Dash, Giancarlo Esposito, and Steve Gukas. His feature debut was as the writer-director of The Lost Number (2012). He also wrote and directed KOKO: The Box TV (2018) and directed and wrote Inquest. In 2024, he was a screenwriter on Kill Boro and A Danfo Christmas.
